Tammy Coxen

Tammy Coxen

Owner & Chief Tasting Officer

Tammy Coxen has been sharing her enthusiasm for food and drink through Tammy’s Tastings for over 10 years. But her interest goes back much farther – from lemonade sales in grade school to bread and pie baking businesses in college, she’s always loved feeding people! Add training in group facilitation and a passion for learning everything she can about a topic and then teaching it to other people, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for Tammy’s Tastings. Tammy is a regular commentator on Michigan Radio’s Stateside program, discussing drinks with a Michigan twist. Her favorite drink is usually the one she’s never tried before.

Along the way, he’s written the wine column for the Ann Arbor Chronicle, started the MichWine website, judged the Michigan Wine Competition for several years, co-founded the country’s longest-running consumer-led wine tasting event — and found the time to visit and taste at wineries on six continents. His particular passions are wines from Michigan, South Africa, and France’s Northern Rhone Valley.
