NEW CLASS: Forager Drinks

A cocktail class rooted in the wild. Discover how flowers, mushrooms, and ramps can transform your drinks through infusions, syrups, and bold flavor pairing. Expect hands-on mixing, seasonal ingredients, and cocktails you won’t find anywhere else.

 Menu will feature drinks with a variety of spirits & your booking will come with pretzels and nuts. 

**Menu subject to change:  Forager’s Delight: Mushroom Vodka, Oloroso Sherry, Brown Butter Syrup–Ramp Gibson: Gin, Dry Vermouth, ramp pickle brine–Pine Cone Sazerac: absinthe, rye, Mugolio syrup, Peychaud’s Bitters–Stalk & Trade: asparagus,  gin, aquavit, ginger syrup, lemon juice–Just Dandy: Gin, lemon juice, Dandelion honey syrup–Wild Strawberry Sour: cachaça, Wild Strawberry infused Aperol, cinnamon-infused syrup, lime juice, egg white–Cloverjito: mint, lime, white rum, clover tea syrup,club soda

The Last Word is closed during the class, so no food service is available. The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to around 2 cocktails per person over the 2 hour class. Please anticipate working with other groups, sharing ingredients, and doing a mix of sitting or standing throughout the class. 

Please note that we have a restricted table layout and use communal seating. Parties of two will almost always be seated with at least one other party of two. Groups of four or more will usually have their own table. You may request a private table in the “seat with” section of the booking form, and we will attempt to honor your request, but there is no guarantee that one will be available. If you have allergies or need a mocktail menu instead please also let me know in the “seat with” section so I get the message early enough to make accommodations .
