Cocktail Classes

Tammy’s Tastings offers a variety of online classes that are perfect for individuals, corporate team building or private online gatherings such as birthdays or book club groups. We bring people together when they can’t be together! Find out more below, or check out the schedule of upcoming public classes.

Multimedia Classes

Tammy’s Tastings multimedia classes incorporate slides, videos, demonstration and discussion. They are focused on the rich history and culture that surrounds cocktails rather than just basic mixing technique, so are perfect for people who already mix drinks at home and want to go deeper.

You’ll:

  • Learn the history and stories behind cocktails and their ingredients.
  • Discover lesser-known classic and modern cocktails
  • Enjoy a small group, interactive experience, with time to ask questions and get personalized suggestions and tips as you mix drinks during the two mixing breaks
  • Choose from several recipes in each class: from drinks that just need a single spirit and a trip to the grocery store, to drinks that reach deep into your liquor cabinet.

Unless otherwise noted, all public online classes are multimedia classes. This format is also available for private groups of 20 computer connections or fewer.

“The most enjoyable history class you’ll ever take” -Thomas

“Tammy is skilled enough to teach you the proper, sometimes complex steps to make a proper drink-of-the-class, but is also knowledgeable enough to help you deal with adapting it on the fly.” -Marguerite

Demonstration Classes

In Tammy’s Tastings Demonstration style classes Tammy will demonstrate three drinks live and people can mix along. There are a wide variety of themed classes available, and Tammy can customize the drink selection to your group’s interests, or work with a third-party vendor to incorporate cocktail kits.

You’ll:

  • Learn the history and stories behind cocktails and their ingredients.
  • Get step-by-step instructions on each cocktail
  • Learn all about cocktail mixing techniques, such as how to properly shake, stir or muddle
  • Have time to ask questions and get personalized suggestions and tips

This style of event is aimed at private events and is good for all group sizes. This format is great for groups with a mixed level of interest and experience in mixing cocktails at home, as there is something to appeal to both beginners and experts.
