Whether you call them mocktails or zero-proof cocktails, every home bartender should have a non-alcoholic drink or two at the ready. Packed with flavor, mocktails can be every bit as interesting as their alcoholic counterparts, and offer a delicious alternative for those who can’t or don’t want to drink. In this class, we’ll talk about a variety of tasty non-alcoholic creations. Most will use basic ingredients you can purchase at the store or make yourself. But heads-up: we’ll also talk a bit about the non-alcoholic “spirit” Seedlip, in case you’d like to get a bottle of that. (Not a lot of stores carry this, but you can order online for shipping. In Michigan, Produce Station in Ann Arbor will have some soon, and Holiday Market in Royal Oak has it in stock).
You’ll receive a list of several recipes in advance so you can pick which drinks you’d like to make in our mix-along time. Online class sessions are limited to a small number of signups so we can keep things interactive, just like an in-person Tammy’s Tastings class. But you can have multiple people sharing your computer screen for a single ticket purchase, so feel free to bring your spouse/SO/stranded college kids – pricing is per computer connected, not per person!
