My new weeknight dinners are pop-up dining events designed and priced for weekdays! They feature all the great flavors and communal table camaraderie guests enjoy at my TT Supper Club events, but in a more compact format. Each menu is limited to just eight diners and feature four courses along a theme.
The November 17 dinner will pay homage to the flavors of fall, and the “three sisters” crops of squash, corn, and beans which the Native Americans grew together. These three crops work in harmony with each other in nature – the corn provides a stalk for the beans to climb, the beans add nitrogen to the soil for the corn and squash, and the squash leaves spread along the ground, blocking weeds and keeping moisture in. Our dinner will bring these three ingredients together into menu harmony as well!
Menu:
Polenta Cakes with Mushrooms and Squash
Miso-Squash Soup with Apples
Duck and Sausage Cassoulet (vegetarian alternative available)
New England Indian Pudding
