Tea is one of the world’s most beloved beverages. And its most varied, with tons of different varieties with radically different flavor profiles. In this class, we’ll explore what tea (both herbal and regular) can do for cocktails. We’ll talk about tea-based, booze-spiked hot toddies, but also about ways to use tea to quickly and easily create complex syrups and infused spirits.
Note: Worried about caffeine late in the day? This is more tea as a flavoring than a beverage, so don’t worry – it’s not going to be enough to keep you up!
Your booking includes light snacks (pretzels, nuts). The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to around 2 cocktails per person over the 2 hour class.
Please note that we have a restricted table layout and use communal seating. If you are attending with friends who book separately, be sure to note their names in the “seat with” section of the booking form so we can seat you together.
