700 Decatur St , New Orleans, Louisiana,
We’ll kick off our tour with a lunch and cocktail demo/lesson at one of New Orleans modern cocktail bars. Then you’ll have time to settle into your boutique hotel room right in the French Quarter before meeting up for a music focused-walking tour of the Quarter. We’ll follow that up with a casual dinner then hit some music spots as a group to introduce you to New Orleans’ amazing music scene.
We’ll start the day off with beignets and chicory coffee at Cafe de Monde before setting off on a walking tour of the French Quarter and a visit to the ever-fascinating Pharmacy Museum. We’ll sample some classic New Orleans fare during a picnic lunch, and then you’ll have time in the afternoon to relax in your room or explore the French Quarter on your own. We’ll meet up for cocktail hour at a historically important New Orleans bar. Dinner tonight will be at a classic New Orleans restaurant serving Cajun and/or Creole cuisine.
Time to get into the kitchen! We’ll have a cooking class led by a local chef and learn to prepare some traditional Cajun dishes which we’ll eat for brunch. Afterward we’ll head to the Old New Orleans Rum distillery for a tour and tasting. Our tour bus will drop us off at the historic French Market, and you can either head back to the hotel or explore on your own until cocktail hour. Dinner will be at a modern New Orleans restaurant where you’ll enjoy a tasting menu developed just for our group, along with paired beverages.
You’ll have time to sleep in before one last meal as a group. We’ll enjoy a traditional jazz brunch together before saying farewell and heading home.

What previous tour travelers had to say:
“The mix of curated events was fantastic. Highlights were Saturday morning’s class at the Supper Club, Rum Tour, and Cane & Table. Those all felt like things I never would have had the opportunity to do on my own. The size of the group was perfect. Small enough to feel like you got to know everyone, but big enough that you didn’t feel stuck with the same people every minute of the day.”
“I really liked how much stuff was covered. Food, drink, history, architecture, culture, music! Really well thought out.”
“I think the best thing about the experience is not having to figure out/plan were to go and when and how, which can be time consuming and hit or miss as a visitor to a place for the first time.”
“Nice to get off tourist track and do really interesting tours and dinners.”
