Some of our most complex and interesting liqueurs have been created by monks and other religious orders. It often started as medicine and then evolved to be a way of financially supporting themselves. In some cases, it’s still the monks making them today! This class will focus on monk-made and monk-associated herbal liqueurs (Chartreuse, Benedictine and Frangelico) that take cocktails from simple to sublime. We’ll talk about their history and uses.
Pricing is per computer connected, not per person! You’ll receive a list of several recipes in advance so you can pick which drinks you’d like to make in our mix-along time. Online class sessions are limited to a small number of signups so we can keep things interactive.
