Interested in cocktail and food pairing? This class is for you! I’m teaming up with Chef Allison Anastasio of Last Bite Chef to offer this combined online cooking and cocktail class. Chef Allison will teach you to make a main dish and a side that incorporate your liquor cabinet ingredients, while I’ll be teaching cocktails that draw from your kitchen to match!

What’s on the menu:

  • Pork Tenderloin Medallions with Rye Whiskey Cream Sauce
  • Sage & Cider Glazed Root Vegetables with Apple Brandy

The Cocktails:

  • Autumn Sage: Gin, Aperol, lemon juice, sage – a seasonal aperitivo to sip on while you cook!
  • Washington (17)75: Apple brandy, hard apple cider, lemon juice, maple syrup – a riff on the classic French 75, as Washington might have drunk it
  • Autumnal – Rye whiskey, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and sweet apple cider with a flaming orange twist

You’ll receive a detailed shopping list and recipes in advance, and step by step instruction during the class. Stay and eat with classmates at the end or sign off and enjoy on your own – it’s up to you! Most food allergies or restrictions can be accomodated, please note them below or contact me in advance to confirm.

Online class sessions are limited to a small number of signups so we can keep things interactive. But you can have multiple people sharing your computer screen for a single ticket purchase, so feel free to bring your spouse/SO/stranded (21+) college kids – pricing is per computer connected, not per person!

Chef Allison Anastasio of Last Bite Chef is a personal chef & culinary educator based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
