The Last Word
301 W Huron Street , Ann Arbor, MI, 48103
In this class we’ll explore Italy’s many contributions to both classic and modern mixology. We’ll talk about and sample cocktails made from many indispensable Italian ingredients. Think about aperitivos like Campari, the many bittersweet concoctions we call Amaro, sweet vermouth and sweet liqueurs like Maraschino, and even Prosecco, limoncello, and grappa. Without these, our cocktails would be much less interesting!
Your booking includes light snacks (pretzels, nuts). The Last Word is closed during the class, so no food service is available. The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to 1.5-2 cocktails per person over the 90-120 minute class.
