Get ready for Mardi Gras! New Orleans is not just the home of Mardi Gras beads and Creole food, it’s also the source of some of the best classic cocktails. We’ll explore the history of Crescent City cocktails and sample creations from the 1800’s to the modern day.
The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to about 2 cocktails per person over the 90 minute class. Antietam is an award-winning restaurant in Detroit’s Eastern Market. Their delicious full menu will be available before, after and during the class, so consider coming for dinner as well.
