Learn why James Bond had it wrong, and the best martinis are stirred, not shaken. You’ll explore how to make familiar and classic stirred drinks like the Manhattan, and also try out some modern recipes. Guest speaker Lola Gegovic will be on hand to talk about Lot 40 single copper pot still Canadian whiskey.

The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to about 2 cocktails per person over the 90 minute class. Antietam is an award-winning restaurant in Detroit’s Eastern Market. Their delicious full menu will be available before, after and during the class, so consider coming for dinner as well.
