I don’t want to be responsible for making anyone drive through the snowstorm their forecasting for this afternoon and evening, so I’m canceling today’s class and rescheduling it for February. Stay warm and safe, everyone.
Cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice – not just for cookies. Cardamom and coriander – not just for Indian food. The spices of the world are key ingredients in bitters, liqueurs, infused syrups and other cocktail ingredients, and this class will explore their uses in a variety of cocktails.
The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to about 2 cocktails per person over the 90 minute class. Antietam is an award-winning restaurant in Detroit’s Eastern Market. Their delicious full menu will be available before, after and during the class, so consider coming for dinner as well.
