When I think of fall, I think about apple cider, pumpkin pie, a warming shot of whiskey, and the smell of burning leaves on the wind. In this autumn-themed cocktail class you’ll make and sample a variety of cocktails that take their inspiration from the season. Along the way you’ll learn about different kinds of sweeteners and how they are used to create well-balanced drinks.
The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to about 2 cocktails per person over the 90 minute class. Antietam is an award-winning restaurant in Detroit’s Eastern Market. Their delicious full menu will be available before, after and during the class, so consider coming for dinner as well.
