June 11 Cocktail Class - Drink Like a Monk (at The Last Word)

Monks have been distilling and brewing for hundreds of years. In my June 11 class we'll focus on monk-made herbal liqueurs (Chartreuse & Benedictine) that take cocktails from simple to sublime, and also make a brief stop in the world of beer cocktails.

The class costs $35 and is hands-on with lots of tasting opportunities. Reserve your space on the Shop page. Because of Restaurant Week, this month's class will be in a new location - The Last Word (Huron and First, where Goodnight Gracie's used to be). This is an especially suitable month for it, since we'll be making and tasting the class Last Word cocktail, which was invented at the Detroit Athletic Club and is the bar's namesake.
